I was laughing at Hockeyy Insiderr's tweets just the other day. What exactly happened? It can be hard to piece the story together from tweets if you're late to the party.

It's like anywhere hockey discussions are hosted.

Speculation, rumors, disagreements and controversy in general gets more traffic than the truth or people agreeing on things or liking each other.

Good ole competition and wonder is what drives traffic. Smart people know that.. Smarter people utilize it.

The wonders of imagination and blind belief vs skepticism and disagreement combine for the most fun. As long as your favorite hockey team isn't playing at the time what is there that is more fun than all of this?

For some it's an escape from daily life, and the other half's daily criticism and demands. For some.. It's just the idea of a better game with a better roster be it next year.. Next month or.. Next week. Or a combination of the two.

The drive to argue and the drive to get better go hand in hand in sports and will always be deeply seeded in any passionate interest we carry as fans of a SPORT.

Especially the best sport in the world. Those who know that hockey is the best sport in the wold, know it.. And those who don't, haven't yet experienced enough to know the truth.

Rome proved the theory to be the rule hundreds of years ago. We just have the internet now as an advantage. I wouldn't have it any other way.

As much as I like to see the spats between bloggers/INsiders and media personalities such as Darren Dregs, it's hard to have any faith when nothing is happening on the trade/signing front.
Another well written article Pete. You are always welcome to come back and write about your thoughts on the 'Nucks.

The person is an arse. He claims to have inside contacts, but then begs for acceptance from the real media. He was mad that Dreger blocked him, and then said to have a pic of Dreger mocking him, HockeyyInsiderr, at TSN, this from a source of his at TSN.

It was the Photoshop work of a 6 year old. Just an absolute joke.

If this person had such great sources, he should just let his results speak for themselves. But he begs, whines, and argues online. Just a fraud.
